Book Review: The Icecutter’s Daughter

Book Description:

Merrill Krause longs for a family of her own, but she’s bound by a promise to her dying mother to care for her father and older brothers until they no longer need her. My Review:
Tracie Peterson has written us a wonderful love story with many twists and turns. The main character, Merrill, is a very strong woman who often does the work of a man to help her father and brothers and their business.  I really liked reading this book and found the plot to be interesting, keeping my attention.  The characters were well developed and likable ( and in some cases not likable).  I look forward to reading additional books from this series by Tracie Peterson. While reading the book, I felt like I was a part of the community where Merrill lived.  This is not a typical love story.  There are others in the story scheming to keep Merrill from Rurik, bt their determination and unending love keep drawing them together.  I highly recommend this book to you if you enjoy reading wholesome fiction.  Be sure to add it to your summer reading list,
