My Review:

If you are looking for your personal destiny and hope that you will find it in this book, that’s not going to happen.  This is a very well written and easy to understand book that will explain about destiny and what your destiny means, but your personal destiny cannot be found in a book.  It is something that you must find on your own and this book can give you some guidelines when exploring your destiny.    I like this author’s style of writing.  You won’t feel as if he is preaching to you.  He uses current life stories along with stories from the Bible to explain his points.  The book includes a list of questions for personal reflection and discussion.  I recommend this book to those who are looking to explore their personal destiny.  We often tell God what we want to do with our lives and we pray for His direction to accomplish the destiny that we think we need.  The author best explains this best by a story.  A little girl asks her father for a nickel that he had promised her.  He reached in his pocket and could not find a nickel.  He had no change at all, only dollar bills.  In fact, the smallest bill he had was a twenty.  He looked at his daughter and told her that since was a really good girl, she could have a twenty.  The little girl started crying because she wanted a nickel that her daddy did not have.  He tried to tell her that the twenty would be a lot of nickels.  Our destiny is like that when we ask God for something we want.  He gives us much more and we are upset with him because it is not what we asked for.  Our destiny is completely in God’s hands.

I was provided a complimentary copy of this book by A. Larry ross Communications.  I was not obligated to write a positive review.  The opinions in this review are my own.
